We understand that getting tickets to festivals and shows that are sold out can be extremely frustrating and discouraging. Scammers know this and take advantage of these opportunities to make ridiculous amounts of money off people. We do not want to see fans getting ripped off, we want you to know we are here for you. CashorTrade.org, for those who are unfamiliar, is a ticket platform where fans buy, sell, and trade tickets at face value. Our website is run by fans, for fans. CashorTrade is completely free to use. The Loss of Tom Petty

Published: October 3, 2017

Last night we lost a huge name in the music world, Tom Petty. There are so many emotions that come to mind when thinking about someone like him. He was such a talented singer and songwriter, taken away from this realm far too soon. Petty lived for 66 years, playing music for nearly 40. He drew inspiration from Elvis Presley and the Rolling Stones creating timeless classics that have become staples in the American music cataloge. He was a humble artist who was known loved by people from all over the world and he was respected greatly by his peers. Bob Dylan has called Petty "a masterful poet". Here is an interview that gives a very intimate...

This weekend Lotus opened their fall tour at Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vermont. Lotus, the incredibley talented jamtronica musicians instantly captured the crowds attention within the first few notes they played. They do so with their transitions from tight intense jams flowing into dreamy lucid jams into dance parties. Lotus has been playing music together for 18 years and it certainly shows. Their ability to pass their jams to one another in such seamless ways is absolutely mesmerizing. Highlights of night one were "Spiritualize" for the second song in the after the "L'immeuble" opener. The band closed the second set out bring it...

This weekend Dave Matthews held a concert in Charlottesville, Virginia in order to bring music and unity to the members of the Charlottesville community in response to the events that occurred there last month. Almost all of the members in Dave Matthews Band are from Charlottesville. Dave Matthews is originally from South Africa but said, "I've lived a lot of paces in my life but most of the band is born and raised in Charlottesville. I love that town, it's more home than anywhere to me. And my family, if the band is my family, which they are, that is where my family is from. And when this happened, that terrible day in Charlottesville, the...

Trey Anastasio and his band headlined Grace Potter's Grand Point North Music Festival in Burlington, Vermont this past weekend. This was the first time the band has played in town since 2011. By the smile beaming from Trey's face, you could tell he was happy to be back in the special town where his musical career began. About halfway through his performance, he paused for a few moments to give the crowd "a little Burlington history". He talked about the first time he came to visit town when he was 18 years old. He was supposed to be visiting The University of Vermont, but instead of visiting the school, he decided to grab a beer and see some...

A couple weeks ago performers like Dead and Company, Taylor Swift, and Bruce Springsteen partnered up with Ticketmaster to use their new "Verified Fan" program when selling tickets to their events. "We built a really big robot to protect fans from the thousands of little scalper bots trying to scoop up tickets. Fans register ahead of time, and those who are verified and selected receive a code that unlocks the opportunity to purchase tickets. Ticketmaster #VerifiedFan was designed to separate actual, human fans from bots and scalpers. The system aims to thwart bad actors who are in the business of taking away tickets from fans just so they...
