ANNOUNCING: CashorTrade Marketplace

Published: July 15, 2021

Our latest tool to bring real fans together... It's an ethical marketplace for fans, by fans. We've built tools that make inventory management easy, and give the artists we want to support a place to share their work with more fans. All while bringing the best of our community together.

Introducing, The COT Lot - CashorTrade's new online store! Our developers have been hard at work this year creating new tools for us to use as we get ramped up for what is looking like a steady ticketing season. (Did you hear? Dave Matthews Band just confirmed their 2021 Summer Tour!) 2020 gave us time to work on projects outside ticketing to bring fans closer together, including "CashorTrade Streams" a live-streaming/donation tool for artists to use while unable to perform in front of audiences. Now, we're pleased to introduce our brand-new storefront for CashorTrade merch: The COT Lot! The launch of our new web store will include some new...

The online live-music-lovin fan community is the most important aspect of what we do at CashorTrade, (only second to the face value ticketing marketplace part...). CashorTrade has over 150 different performer specific and state specific ticket trading groups on Facebook, and that means we see a LOT of incredible (and not so incredible!) fan content. While we love seeing your art, photos & debates- nothing hits quite like a perfectly timed meme-drop. We play the meme-making game sometimes too, but we wanted to tip our hats to the pros. Here are some of our picks for hilarious content from some of our favorite content creators! Be sure to...

The two-tone and double-decker bus, the barrage of bearded hippies dishing out finger sandwiches, arrays of baked goods, and multi-page pamphlets. It's a sight that's hard to miss. If you've found yourself on lot at a rock & roll show from the late '70s onward, chances are you've seen the monolith of a bus with Amish-looking folks pouring out of it, spreading their gospel, and engaging in conversation.

We are looking for an experienced full-stack web developer with an expertise in the PHP programming language. If you are someone who loves live music and wants to play a role in helping fans across the globe see their favorite acts without getting ripped off, please drop us a line and apply for this position. We are growing and are looking for a solid team who shares in our passion to provide a rightful alternative to the secondary ticket market.

Our Top 5 Phavorite Lot Scenes

In the spirit of socially distanced shows and festival announcements, we at CashorTrade want to build some excitement for the months to come. With seeing more show announcements on the horizon, it reminded us of one of our favorite parts of being on tour - the lot scene. Every lot looks different across the U.S, but also share a lot of things in common. The smell of grilled cheese and the emanating sound of Jerry Garcia Band and Phish can be heard through all corners of shakedown, along with vendors exchanging pleasantries, and the oh-so exclusive heady deals goin down. Sometimes a lot scene can be just as fun as the show itself and provides a great opportunity for fans to mingle and exchange goods (hey, kind of like CashorTrade!). This kind of family gathering is one of the things we look forward to when the world returns to normal, so we decided to make a list and remark on our favorite lots you might stumble upon when you re truckin across the U.S to see your favorite shows.

The "new normal" era we are all living in has left venues, businesses, and fans across the country scratching their heads. So what's next? For the average fan of live music, going to shows, being on tour, and festival hopping is the thing that gives us that magic "spark", that keeps us feeling truly alive and feeds our soul. We talked with Rocking Life's Taraleigh Weathers on what's been getting her through.
