Sharing In The Groove With Kevin Statesir

April 20, 2018 - By Brando Rich

Kevin Statesir is a beloved member in the jam community, especially here in Burlington, Vermont. Not only did he used to co-own Higher Ground, the biggest indoor venue we have in our small city. So much talent has passed through those doors and continues to bring so many incredbile established and up and coming artists. Kevin now runs StatesirReal Projects which is a proffessional event planning and networking project. Saturday April 21st, Sharing In The Groove will take place in Burlington. It is a symposium that focuses on the jam community and culture.

The jam scene is filled with people of all different walks of life who all came together for the music and stayed for the party. Wheather it be in a parking lot hanging out before the show, beig at a bar and noticing a strangers shirt, or being a musician in a band, or whatever serendipidious way we all connect over this music and culture we do. It is a special scene of people that is sucha a niche of the music with so many other nihces within it. The amount of art, products, new music, and community that comes out of the scene
