Goose and Billy Strings are hopping across the pond this month for European tours. They're playing many of the same cities along the way, including a night when both will be in Amsterdam.

Lots of fans are making the trip over from the US to join the local fans for a great cultural exchange. Live music brings people together and it should be a special experience for bands and fans alike.

Plenty of folks are buying, selling, and trading tickets for face value with other fans over on CashorTrade, so we thought we'd do a little preview of these tours that kick off this weekend. Let's start with the Goose guys, who are embarking on their first-ever European tour.

Goose European Tour

How does a little pre-game with some wine, cheese, and escargot sound? Goose's European tour starts on November 3 in Paris at Le Trabendo. It should be a fun Friday night at this 700-person venue. The show is sold out (even after moving to a bigger venue), but there are tickets popping up on CoT so set an alert if you're trying to come out.

From there, Goose heads to Germany for a show in Cologne on November 4. We can taste the schnitzel and the beer and sense this Saturday night is going to be a barn-burner. There are some tickets up on the Goose page on CoT if you can make it out!

After a few days off, they'll run into their old pal Billy Strings in Amsterdam. Will one of the Goose guys sit in with Billy on their night off? Only time will tell... The Goose gig is at the historic Melkweg on November 7 and fans are super stoked for it.

The European tour rolls on to Copenhagen on November 9 for another sold-out show. It's back to Germany the following day for an appearance at the Rolling Stone Beach Festival on November 10. Goose plays from 6:45-7:45 with a great chance to make some international fans.

The two-set shows resume on November 11 in Berlin. In a city famous for its techno scene, will Goose bring some dance club vibes to their show? We think so. This is gonna be a fun night. They get a day to recover and hopefully do some sightseeing before crossing into Belgium for a gig in Brussels on November 13.

This concludes the portion of Goose's tour in the European Union. Here are all of the dates for this leg of the tour:

  • November 3: Paris, France
  • November 4: Cologne, Germany
  • November 7: Amsterdam, Netherlands
  • November 9: Copenhagen, Denmark
  • November 10: Rolling Stone Beach, Wangels, Germany
  • November 11: Berlin, Germany
  • November 13: Brussels, Belgium

Next up, Goose heads to the United Kingdom for a 5-night jaunt. It starts in Glasgow on November 15 at BAaD, which looks like a super cool event space. From there, they head to Manchester on November 16. Perhaps an Oasis cover in the band's hometown? That would be cool...

One more Saturday night on the European tour finds the band in Bristol on November 18. The show is at Thekla, a music venue inside of a cargo ship. This 400-person venue is sold out, so this is another one you'll want to set an alert for on CoT.

What better place than foggy London town to wrap up Goose's first European tour? They have a 2-night run at the Electric Ballroom November 19-20, and we smell a big "Electric Avenue" cover coming.

Here are all of the dates for the Goose UK portion of their tour:

  • November 15: Glasgow, Scotland
  • November 16: Manchester, UK
  • November 18: Bristol, UK
  • November 19-20: London, UK

For all of your ticketing needs for this upcoming tour, be sure to hop on CashorTrade and #EmbracetheFace.

Billy Strings European Tour

Billy Strings is no stranger to Europe, as he took his band on a tour there last year as well as a couple of shows and festivals this summer. They must have made some local fans in the process because they're back for more this November.

The tour kicks off November 6-7 at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. Phish played some legendary shows here back in the 90s and we're expecting Billy to bring his A-game for these shows.

Goose and Billy fans will be out and about in the 'dam, surely enjoying the art museums, canals, and the coffee shops. It will be an interesting scene to say the least! These shows are sold out and in high demand, so you'll definitely want to set an alert and keep a close eye on the Billy Strings ticket page on CoT.

Next up for BMFS is a trip over to Antwerp on November 8. Did you know that in Belgium, a Belgian waffle is just called a waffle? Crazy, right?

From there, the band heads to Cologne on November 10 followed by Luxembourg City on November 11 at den Antelier. Fun fact - the venue's name is an amalgam of the two main languages in Luxembourg - "den" meaning "the" in Luxembourgish and "antelier" meaning "workshop" in French.

Oktoberfest may be over, but it'll be Rocktoberfest in Munich on November 12. Never miss a Sunday show, folks. The EU portion of the tour concludes on November 14 in Paris with a sold-out show at La Cigale.

Here are the dates for the first leg of the Billy Strings European tour:

    • November 6-7: Amsterdam, Netherlands
    • November 8: Antwerp, Belgium
    • November 10: Cologne, Germany
    • November 11: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
    • November 12: Munich, Germany
    • November 14: Paris, France

Just like his avian brethren in Goose, Billy and Co. head to the UK to finish up their tour as well. Billy is kicking things off in London on November 15 at Roundhouse - a former Victorian railway shed turned music venue.

Hopefully, the band gets some fish & chips and some rest on their day off. Next up is an evening in Manchester on November 17 at the Manchester Academy. As it turns out, this is the only venue that both Billy Strings and Goose are playing on their respective tours.

The tour comes to a close with gigs in Glasgow on November 18 and Birmingham on November 19. They'll be firing on all cylinders at this point and these should be excellent shows to close it out.

Here's a look at all of the UK dates for the Billy Strings European tour:

    • November 15: London, UK
    • November 17: Manchester, UK
    • November 18: Glasgow, Scotland
    • November 19: Birmingham, UK

Whether you're still ISO or you have an extra to unload, hop on CoT with the other Goats.
