Nobody wants to spend New Years alone, especially after spending most of 2020 at home! New Year's events are often some of the most sought after tickets of the year, and usually sell out the fastest. Around this time annually, we start to see hundreds of incoming posts daily searching for the right ticket or the right trade from fans trying to lock in their New Year's plans. We know more than most how hard it can be to find that Golden Ticket for a sold-out New Year's run, so we wanted to offer some helpful tips for successful scoring on CashorTrade!

1.) Making An Offer

When responding to an alert on CashorTrade, or a ticket post for sale, I can't stress enough how important it is to choose your words wisely. We have a saying at the CashorTrade HQ - "'Dibs!' will get you nowhere" Taking the extra minute to write a thoughtful response to a ticket posted for sale (Especially if you know it's a very hot ticket that will have plenty of replies!) can make all the difference! Keep a thoughtful response handy that you can copy and paste, explaining why you're the best buyer to choose for this ticket! We're a community; Taking the time to make a human connection with the seller a could make all the difference!

2.) Connecting Your Accounts for E-Transfer

To make digital ticket transfers easier, we've added an option to connect your primary ticketing account info to CashorTrade. That means keeping the e-mail address you use to login to your (AXS, Ticketmaster, LiveNation, etc.) updated & on file on your CashorTrade account so that a ticket seller can easily transfer your tickets to you digitally without hesitation. You can update your digital transfer accounts here, then choosing Address Book; There you can connect your digital transfer accounts for all major primary ticketing sites and get on with the show!

3.) Accepting & Transferring Digital Tickets

Digital transfers are becoming the norm in the ticketing world- so if you're not familiar with accepting an E-Transfer ticket, it's time to get familiar! Depending on which primary ticketing company the ticket is being hosted with (AXS, TicketMaster etc.) a digital e-transfer can come in a number of ways.

Here's how to go about ticket transfers on the most popular primary ticketing sites:
Ticketmaster
AXS
EventBrite

4.) Connecting Your PayPal Account

A verified PayPal is required to be paid out for tickets you have sold on CashorTrade, so to expedite your payout process, be sure to link your PayPal account! You can link your existing PayPal account in your account settings under "Billing". If you do not have a PayPal account you will have to create one before you can accept payouts.

Note: You do not need a PayPal account to buy tickets on CashorTrade; tickets are purchased with either a debit or credit card!

5.) Protecting Your Trade Using The '$' Feature

Did you know you can fully protect your trade using the '$' button? CashorTrade offers a secure payment processor right in your chat! Do you need to send extra cash to your seller for expedited shipping? Or are you in a committed trade, but want to make sure you're fully protected? Click the '$' button within your chat to send money back and forth to make sure your trade is fully protected by CashorTrade's Trader's Protection.

6.) Go Gold!

This is an easy one. Using CashorTrade is free, but if you want first access to tickets as they're posted and to save money with each transaction- GO GOLD! The Gold Membership feature grants access to tickets 10-minutes before they're available to purchase for non-gold members, and covers your Trader's Protection fee for up to a year.

7.) Keep up with your reviews!

Last but not least, be sure to keep up with leaving reviews for EVERY transaction on CashorTrade! A user with 10 5-star reviews is much more likely to be chosen as a trusted buyer than a profile with none. Be good family and be sure to leave an objective review with every purchase/sale/trade you make on the site to rack up your rating & help other users to the same!
